Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath Tiberium Insanity Mod is a modification software created by Firehawk-Ph4ntom. This game utility is an enhancement mod for Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath. It includes a lot of changes and bug fixes to enhance the effects and atmosphere of the game. It also improves the AI and ramps up the difficulty of the game. The key factor of the mod, however, is removing the sub-factions and focusing the game on only three factions. 

What does the mod offers?

Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath is not a stand-alone game in the C & C franchise. It is, in fact, an expansion pack for the critically acclaimed game, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. It returns the players to the Tiberium Universe with Kane in the center of the campaign. As with the original game, it offers an action-packed campaign told through a new set of live-action sequences. The expansion pack also comes with six unique sub-factions that you can play according to your play style. 

As noted, Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath Tiberium Insanity Mod eliminated these sub-factions to focus on only three factions. Each of the factions has its theme. GDI focuses on sonic zone tech to eradicate Tiberium from the planet. It also repels the other forces. Nod, meanwhile, focuses on the power of the flame. Players who play in this faction can use a flame in purifying weapons that can repel both enemies while spreading the growth of Tiberia. Scrin, on the other hand, focuses on the total annihilation of the other factions while increasing the spread of Tiberium. 

The mod is a continuing project, so players can get updates to make their gameplay better. As mentioned, the author also added effects enhancement to the vanilla game and improved the AI for a higher difficulty level. However, while the modification fixes bugs, there are still some that may affect its performance. Some may even find it hard to play in multiplayer modes. Additionally, the GDI graphics are a bit too sharp that the game does not look like the original version. 

Good idea but needs improvement

Taking things into consideration, Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath Tiberium Insanity Mod has a great idea in providing fans of the popular real-time strategy game with a newer experience. However, due to the bugs that still need fixing, the potential of the mod is lowered. As it is now, the mod has a long way to go to give the players an action-packed game they expect.
